A new lace neckwarmer: Ariel

Ariel Lace Neckwarmer

Ariel Lace Neckwarmer

I had rather lofty ambitions for new patterns for the Renegade Craft Fair.  I wish I could tell you that a pattern takes me five minutes to whip out, but that just isn't the case.  Ariel (above) is my brand new lace neckwarmer/neck cuff, which I actually knit months ago, but finished up the pattern yesterday!

This uses fingering weight yarn (sock yarn - heavier weight/thicker than lace weight, but lighter weight/thinner than sport weight) and I used Wool Candy Marzipan, which I love.  Adrienne, the super talented woman behind Wool Candy, lives nearby!  You'll be seeing more Phydeaux Designs patterns using Wool Candy yarn!  (We have some other surprises in store, too!)

Back to Ariel!  I love this lace pattern stitch - it's very textural, even three dimensional.  I wanted a name reminiscent of moving water or even little minnows ... so Ariel it is (seriously, does anyone not know who Ariel is???).

You can order your very own Ariel Lace Neckwarmer by clicking the "buy now" button below!  This is a Ravelry purchase button, but you don't need a Ravelry account to order through this.  Best of all, you'll be able to download your pattern immediately.

Of course, you can order and download immediately through my own website as well, by clicking right here!

OK, friends, last day to prep for Renegade - I'm just praying that I hear my alarm in the very wee hours tomorrow morning!!!  Think good thoughts for Sam and me today - we appreciate it!
