Well, I learned the very hard way that my original design wouldn't work. Yes, I can knit it myself. I can probably tell an experienced knitter how to knit it. But the original design had very few repeating rows. There was no pattern to the pattern. Which makes for a VERY long knitting pattern!
So back to the drawing board. A few times. And now ... we have an early release pattern!
What's the diff between an "early" and a "full" release?
Well, the early release hasn't been tested or tech edited (the full version will be). The charts for the early release are first drafts and will be revised/replaced/edited/tested for the full release.
Why on earth, then, would you want the early release?
The early release is $2.75. The full release will be at least $6.00. If you order the early release, you'll receive the full release at no additional charge, along with any interim revisions. That's a pretty good deal! Even if you decide not to knit it until the full release is published, you're locking in to a pretty great price.
How long is the early release available at this price?
Until the full release is published, which I think will occur in late September. At that time, the early release will be replaced by the full release pattern and price (at least $6.00). If you already order the early release, you'll receive directions and a download link at the same time for the full release (no additional charge!).
