The Chicken and the Egg

Which came first?

Do we create because we are addicted to (bright, shiny) supplies (yarn, paint, fabric, vintage bling, beads, etc.)?

Or do we create because we have such (bright, shiny) supplies (yarn, paint, fabric, vintage bling, beads, etc.)?

Or maybe we create just because it's there? I sometimes wonder about the supplies/creation connection when I'm considering how to store yet more fiber, yarn, buttons, etc!!!

For me, I think I'm addicted to buying pretty and shiny things that instantly inspire me to do something with them. :) Btw, I love the colors in your first scarf!

supplies, supplies, supplies. Oh and the finished product is nice, too. But man I love supplies.

Must. stop. shopping. for. fabric.

And now yarn!! Did you see? I'm now a fabric addict AND a yarn addict.

Bad.

That is a good question. I do think I'm addicted to buying yarn, beads, findings, etc. which inspires me to create. You know, I have enough supplies, and can make plenty of things with it all, but I always want new stuff!
