and ... I'm back!

I don't think I'll be allowed to move from the couch for at least several days. I'm hoping that pizza delivery guys are willing to break the door down in order to make couch deliveries. :)

Had a fabuloso time, kitties were missed (and after nearly five hours of terribly hurt feelings, they're sort of speaking to me, largely by pinning me in place), great danes were pet and scratched and kissed, and had a fantastic time hanging out with this person (and her wonderful husband) and also this person (and her wonderful husband and son).

I'm absolutely beat - I'm not the best traveller! I always start out with a flight thinking, "this is so much fun, why don't I do this more often?" And I always end with a flight thinking, "I will fall onto my hands and knees and kiss the tarmac of San Jose if I ever get out of these god forsaken airports and planes." :)

I'll share more later, but just have this to say for now ... home is never sweeter than when returned to after being far away. :)

Hi Brenda- glad you are back and had a great time- I travel the same way- always starting out thinking I should do this more often and ending by saying 'no more!'

Ha! So funny! The promise of adventure is so alluring. The reality of travel -not so much.

Hope you had a great time on the ground though.

Welcome home!

I'm glad you made it home safe! Too bad we weren't in So. Cal. at the same time! Thank you for the Mother's Day wishes, Brenda! :)

Dear B, I'm so glad you made it home safely and the kitties have (somewhat) forgiven you :)

Travelling can indeed take the stuffing out of a person, but at the same time, you make such wonderful memories...

We so enjoyed meeting you in person! You're a complete doll and I look forward to the next time...
