Another new creation

Aquamarine and Amethyst Lace: Inspired by my mom, who loves all of these colors (and looks wonderful in them)!

This is the one I mentioned previously, where I'm hoping to get a little more venturesome with my knitting, now that I have some basic inventory listed in my shop (venturesome = more time to complete!).

This is a "simple" garter stitch alternated at regular intervals with a long garter stitch (just one wrap), using Lorna's Laces hand dyed chunky superwash wool. Whew -- that was quite a mouthful! Meaning that it's machine washable (though still delicate, given the open lacy pattern), but I wouldn't machine dry it! In fact, I wouldn't machine wash it -- hand wash would still be best.

I say "simple," because I knit this without a pattern, creating it as I went along, and continually had to go back a few rows. I'll write the pattern up and list it in my shop.

I have another new venture planned for my shop, stay tuned!

Hope you all had a great weekend. I'm happy to report that I've completed my reading, written and submitted my paper, and so should actually SLEEEEEP tonight.
